Art for KidsEnlightenment and joy for all ages! Children are the artists of the future. We welcome young artists and provide an environment where they can expore their creativity, make a mess and learn to develop the visions they hold within. Classes are held regularly and we offer first rate exhibitions of the children's work . Our students are always amazed at how much they can accomplish and improve when they look at the work they did before coming to art class, and the works they produce for the yearly art show. Sketching & Drawing
We have a new class coming up for sketching and drawing for children and teens, 8 to 16. It will be in a positive, open space at the front of the gallery, among beautiful works of art to draw inspiration from.
The class is structured and includes the basics of
- Human anatomy
- Animals, portraits
- Figure drawing
- Left-brain exercises
- Still-life drawing
- ... and more!
Build confidence and knowledge during our two-hour sessions. We believe that every child has the capacity to draw beautiful works of art, and sketching is the starting point of every great artistic mind. Materials needed are sketching pencils and a sketch pad - and a love of learning! We have twice-yearly art shows where the works of your child will be displayed - a great opportunity to bring your friends and family!
